About the Role: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Design Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of disciplines including product design, resistant materials, and systems and control. You will assess and monitor student progress through practical projects, written assignments, and presentations, providing timely and constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Additionally, you will contribute to departmental meetings, participate in curriculum planning, and potentially lead extracurricular design projects, fostering a passion for design and technology among students. Ideal Candidate: You should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design Technology or a closely related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and relevant technologies. Proven experience in teaching Design Technology at the secondary level is essential, with a track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
