Media Studies Teacher – Mixed Secondary School in Merton (January Start) Location: Merton Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale A creative mixed secondary school in Merton is seeking an innovative Media Studies Teacher to join its growing Creative Arts Faculty. About the School The school values creativity, digital literacy, and real-world learning, supported by modern facilities and a collaborative staff culture. About the Media Department The department offers a dynamic curriculum that develops analytical, technical, and creative skills, with access to specialist software and equipment. The Role • Teach Media Studies at KS4–KS5. • Deliver engaging lessons covering theory and practical production. • Support coursework moderation and exam preparation. • Contribute to enrichment projects and digital initiatives. Requirements • QTS and experience teaching Media Studies. • Strong understanding of media theory and production tools. • Passion for creative education.
