Job description
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated School Business Manager (SBM) to join a well-regarded Secondary School in Leicester , known for its strong operational leadership and commitment to continuous improvement. • Full-time School Business Manager required from January 2026 • Well-established Secondary School in Leicester • Excellent opportunity to play a strategic leadership role within the school This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SBM to take ownership of finance, HR, estates, and operational management within a busy school environment. Working closely with the Headteacher and Governors, the SBM will ensure efficient use of resources and contribute significantly to the school’s strategic direction. Experience and Qualifications • Proven experience as a School Business Manager or similar role • Strong financial management and budgeting experience • Knowledge of HR, premises, and health & safety within education • Experience working with senior leaders and governing bodies • Relevant qualification (e.g. DSBM, CSBM, or equivalent) desirable • Eligibility to work in the UK School Information This Secondary School in Leicester is well-regarded for its effective leadership and well-run operations.
