Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher ready to inspire the next generation of learners? Our vibrant and ambitious school in Hounslow is seeking a motivated Year 6 teacher to join our team from January 2026. Why join us: Be part of a supportive and collaborative year group and teaching team Teach motivated, eager-to-learn pupils in a stimulating and well-resourced environment Work in a school committed to professional development and staff wellbeing Contribute to a vibrant school culture that celebrates achievement, resilience, and inclusion What we are looking for: QTS with recent KS2 teaching experience, ideally including Year 6 Ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire pupils High expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal development Strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues Collaborative, reflective, and organised approach to teaching and learning Passion for promoting learning beyond the classroom through enrichment activities and projects Key responsibilities: Teach a Year 6 class full-time, preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments while fostering independence and a love of learning Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND Track pupil progress effectively and use assessment to inform planning and next steps in learning Support and contribute to whole-school initiatives and year group planning Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing, confidence, and resilience Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships supporting pupils’ learning and development What we offer: A supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking leadership team Opportunities for continuous professional development and career progression Motivated pupils in a positive, inspiring learning environment A permanent position with the chance to make a real difference in pupils’ lives How to apply: Please upload your most up-to-date CV.
