The Role This leadership role involves supporting the Head of Science in the management and development of the Science department. You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at Key Stage 5. As 2nd in Charge, you will assist in curriculum development, implement teaching strategies, and ensure high standards in student progress. Requirements and Qualifications Strong experience in teaching Science with a specialism in either Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Leadership experience within a Science department (preferred but not essential).
