Job description
Job Description A progressive and forward-thinking Camden school is seeking a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join their creative learning community. The school promotes modern teaching practices, cross-curricular learning, and strong pupil independence. Staff enjoy excellent CPD opportunities and a collaborative culture where creativity and innovation are encouraged. Requirements QTS and a strong understanding of KS1 developmental needs Ability to deliver high-quality creative lessons Skilled in phonics, early reading, and numeracy support Confident in managing behaviour positively and proactively Strong team player with good communication skills Salary £35,000 – £47,000 per annum What the Job Entails Delivering engaging lessons across all KS1 subjects Planning creative thematic units of work Supporting pupils academically and emotionally Monitoring progress through assessment and feedback Working with specialist staff (music, PE, SEND teams) Creating a stimulating and welcoming learning environment Participating in enrichment clubs or trips Summary A great opportunity to join a forward-thinking Camden school committed to creativity, inclusion, and pupil-centred learning.
