Spanish ECT – Mixed Secondary School in Lambeth (January Start) Location: Lambeth, London Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale A vibrant 11–18 mixed school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a dedicated Spanish ECT for a January start. About the School This welcoming and ambitious school is known for excellent behaviour, strong sixth form outcomes, and a diverse, inclusive community. ECTs are well supported through mentoring, observation cycles, and personalised training. About the MFL Department The MFL Department is forward-thinking, multicultural, and passionate about language learning. Spanish is a highly popular subject, and the team uses interactive resources, immersive tasks, and authentic materials to inspire students. The department benefits from language assistants, digital tools, and cultural enrichment days. The Role • Teach Spanish across KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities available in Year 2). • Plan engaging, language-rich lessons. • Participate in MFL events, trips, and clubs. • Support the continued growth of the department. Requirements • PGCE/MFL training route with QTS for January 2026. • Fluency in Spanish and strong pedagogical skills. • Commitment to inspiring a love for languages.
