Location: Newham Are you an experienced and passionate Year 5 Teacher eager to join a supportive and innovative school ? We have an exciting opportunity for you to take on a full-time teaching role in a thriving primary school in Newham starting in April 2025 . This role is perfect for someone who is committed to nurturing and challenging students as they prepare for the next stage of their education. The Role Start Date: April 2025 Location: Newham Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent The School Located in Newham , this well-established primary school fosters a warm and inclusive environment where both students and staff feel supported and valued. The school places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, personal growth, and fostering a love for learning. With an experienced leadership team and a collaborative atmosphere, you’ll be joining a community that believes in developing the whole child. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons , aligning with the National Curriculum and ensuring students make significant progress. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom where all children are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear goals for growth. Implement creative teaching strategies to engage Year 5 students and foster critical thinking and independence. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a rich, varied curriculum that supports both academic and personal development. Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and addressing any concerns. Engage in ongoing professional development to continuously enhance your teaching practices and knowledge. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Year 5 or another Key Stage 2 year group. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging classroom that encourages student success. Passionate about education and committed to making a difference in the lives of young learners.
