Job description
A supportive, forward-thinking secondary school in Barnsley is seeking to appoint a full-time Religious Education Teacher starting January 2026. This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about teaching KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 within a supportive and reflective learning environment. Full-time Religious Education ECT position beginning January 2026 Reduced timetable available to support ECT induction Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 Join a collaborative Humanities team committed to student development This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development within a well-resourced and innovative school. Experience and Qualifications QTS (or final year of training) with a specialism in Religious Education or Humanities Relevant placement or teaching experience at KS3/KS4 preferred Strong interest in ethical discussions, world religions, and engaging students Legal right to work in the UK School Information The school promotes evidence-based teaching practices and values staff wellbeing.
