Job description
A prestigious independent nursery school is seeking a dedicated EYFS Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join their team immediately . This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing, enriching environment where you will play a vital role in supporting the early education and development of young children. The Role: Providing high-quality care and education to children in the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), supporting their learning and development through play-based activities . Ensuring that all children are engaged in a stimulating environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Supporting the planning and implementation of EYFS learning activities, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of each child. Promoting positive behaviour and helping children develop their social skills in a safe and supportive setting. Assisting with the monitoring of children’s progress , maintaining observation records, and contributing to the creation of individual development plans. Working closely with other practitioners to maintain a high standard of care and teaching , and contributing to team meetings. Establishing strong relationships with parents and communicating effectively about children’s development and well-being. The Ideal Candidate: Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education . Proven experience working with young children in an EYFS or nursery setting . Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and a commitment to delivering high-quality education and care. Caring, nurturing nature with the ability to engage children and create a positive learning environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both children and parents. Proactive and enthusiastic approach, with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and maintain a professional approach at all times.
