About the Role As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching Music across KS3–KS4, with KS5 available for suitable candidates • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that strengthen performance, composition and listening skills • Preparing students for GCSE coursework and practical assessments • Leading or supporting ensembles, choirs or musical clubs • Playing an active role in whole-school events, concerts and productions • Contributing to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the department Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Music or a related discipline • PGCE with QTS • Strong performance or composition background • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities • Passion for Music education and commitment to high standards Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS Application This Music Teacher position in Somerset offers an outstanding opportunity to join a supportive, ambitious and artistically vibrant school community.
