History Teacher - Independent School - Leeds Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • History Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level History (KS3/4/5) • Leeds • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full time or part time History Teacher History Teacher You would be working in a successful Humanities department teaching History across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department delivers a broad and engaging curriculum that encourages students to explore historical events, analyse sources and develop strong evaluative and essay-writing skills. Students are encouraged to think critically about key historical themes and debates while developing confidence in research, discussion and independent learning. The department has a strong track record of excellent outcomes and works collaboratively to ensure students are supported and challenged effectively. The School provides a supportive environment where teachers are encouraged to innovate, share best practice and contribute positively to wider school life. Staff work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons while maintaining high expectations across all year groups. You will benefit from excellent CPD provision, strong mentoring support for ECTs and opportunities for progression within the department and wider school community.
