Job description
Position Overview: An independent school in Greenwich is seeking a dynamic and highly organised School Business Manager to commence January 2026. This is a key role within the senior leadership team, responsible for the financial and operational management of the school. Responsibilities: Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, reporting, and forecasting Oversee HR, including recruitment, payroll, and staff wellbeing Ensure compliance with statutory and safeguarding regulations Provide strategic input to the Headteacher and Governors Support the school’s operational and administrative systems Skills and Experience: Proven SBM or senior management experience in schools Strong financial, administrative, and HR management skills Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects Why Work Here: This Greenwich independent school provides a nurturing and high-achieving environment for both students and staff.
