PE Teacher – Fantastic Specialist Independent School – Lambeth – April Start Role: PE Teacher Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: April 2025 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) A fantastic specialist independent school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the physical education and well-being of students with special educational needs in a supportive and dynamic environment. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a fantastic independent specialist school in Lambeth Teach PE to students with a range of special educational needs, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and health Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated PE lessons that cater to individual student needs Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages students to enjoy and engage in physical education Support students in building confidence, self-esteem, and social skills through sports and physical activities Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to monitor student progress and adapt lessons to ensure the best outcomes Foster a love of physical activity that supports students’ well-being and personal development Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching PE, ideally in a special educational needs (SEN) or alternative provision setting Knowledge of how to adapt PE lessons for students with varying abilities and additional needs A passion for physical education and helping students achieve their personal best Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
