About the School A thriving 11–18 secondary school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join its successful Science Department from January 2026. The school educates 1,300 students and has a Progress 8 score of +0.59. It is known for its inclusive ethos, innovative teaching, and commitment to continuous improvement. The department consistently achieves exceptional outcomes at GCSE and A-Level, with students regularly pursuing STEM degrees at leading universities. About the Role This full-time, permanent role involves teaching Science across KS3–KS5. The appointed teacher will deliver engaging, experiment-driven lessons that foster curiosity and problem-solving skills. You will work in a collaborative department that values creativity and high expectations. The Science Faculty offers cutting-edge laboratories, access to simulation software, and excellent technician support. Teachers are encouraged to lead co-curricular activities such as robotics, environmental clubs, or science fairs.
