Job description
Start Date: January 2026 Location: Cambridge About the Role: A Cambridge school rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted is seeking a Design & Technology ECT to join their thriving department. This is a superb opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to develop their career in a forward-thinking and well-resourced DT faculty. You will deliver lessons across KS3–KS4, with opportunities to specialise in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Teach Design & Technology across KS3–KS4. Support preparation for GCSE Design & Technology. Contribute to DT clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities. Engage with professional development and mentoring. Foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving in learners. About the School: This 11–18 school educates around 1,200 pupils and has a reputation for innovation and academic excellence.
