Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our thriving and inclusive Primary School in Havering. This is a permanent role starting January 2026, offering the chance to make a long-term impact on pupils’ learning and development. Key Information Position: Year 3 Teacher Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome) About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our KS2 team, inspiring and supporting pupils to achieve their best. As a Year 3 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where all children can thrive. The successful candidate will take on the responsibilities of a Year 3 Teacher, working closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to ensure every pupil reaches their potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored for Year 3 pupils as a KS2 Teacher Support and challenge pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment as a Year 3 Teacher Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community Contribute to the school’s ethos of high expectations and achievement What We’re Looking For We welcome applications from teachers who: Hold QTS and understand the Year 3 curriculum Are enthusiastic, creative, and able to make learning meaningful as a Year 3Teacher Can inspire and motivate pupils, nurturing a love of learning Are reflective practitioners who thrive in a collaborative team environment What the School Offers A welcoming and supportive school community Enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning Opportunities for professional development, including support for Teachers A strong ethos of inclusion and achievement How to Apply If you are a dedicated and inspiring Year 3 Teacher ready to take on this permanent role in Havering, starting January 2026, we would love to hear from you.
