Job description
Our Client is looking for a Geography Teacher to work within an outstanding mixed secondary school based in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a full-time position to start from January 2026. Geography Teacher required to work on a full-time basis Outstanding school in Newcastle Excellent Geography Teacher to join a high-achieving and collaborative department Our Client is looking for a Geography Teacher to teach across KS3 & KS4 in a department known for academic excellence and engaging fieldwork opportunities. Experience and Qualifications Geography Teacher Be enthusiastic, inspiring and reflective Have excellent subject knowledge A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE) Legal ability to work within the UK School Information This 11–18 school has 1,300 students on roll and consistently ranks among the top-performing schools in the region. In 2024, 96% achieved grades 9–4 at GCSE, and Geography maintained a 92% pass rate. The school provides dedicated resources for fieldwork and digital mapping, as well as a supportive teaching culture.
