Job description
Our client is seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Psychology to join a thriving and high-achieving secondary school in Birmingham . This is a full-time position starting in January 2026 , offering excellent mentoring and a supportive environment to help you launch your teaching career. ECT Psychology Teacher required to work full-time Outstanding mixed secondary school in Birmingham Join a successful and collaborative Social Sciences department with a structured ECT induction programme This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven new teacher to begin their career in a school recognised for its academic excellence, innovation, and nurturing ethos . The successful candidate will teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5 , fostering students’ critical thinking, research skills, and understanding of human behaviour . Experience and Qualifications ECT Psychology Teacher (PGCE or equivalent completed) Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Psychology and the Social Sciences Commitment to professional growth and inspiring young learners Legal right to work in the UK School Information This large and oversubscribed secondary school in Birmingham is rated Outstanding by Ofsted . With over 1,400 students , including a vibrant Sixth Form , the school is known for its exceptional academic outcomes and commitment to personal development. In 2024, students achieved excellent A-Level results in Psychology, reflecting the high standards of teaching and learning within the department.
