Job description
Exciting Opportunity: Year 2 Teacher – Lincoln An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive Primary School in Lincoln. This is a fixed-term role starting January 2026, with an initial 6-week contract that will be extended until the end of the academic year. Interviews will be held next Monday, so early applications are encouraged. Key Information Year 2 Teacher Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Fixed Term (initial 6 weeks, extended until July 2026) Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome to apply) About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join the Year 2 team and play an active role in shaping positive outcomes for pupils. As a Year 2 Teacher, You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in line with the KS1 national curriculum, while fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to ensure all children achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
