Job description
A well-renowned and highly respected secondary school in Worcester is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of the school site. This is a key operational role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, well-presented, and efficient school environment. Site Manager required Well-renowned secondary school based in Worcester Key operational role supporting the whole school The role involves responsibility for the smooth running of the school premises, ensuring buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and well maintained. You will work closely with senior leaders, contractors, and staff to support the effective operation of the school throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of the school site Opening and closing the school premises as required Carrying out basic repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep Overseeing health & safety procedures and site compliance Liaising with contractors and monitoring site works Supporting school events, lettings, and occasional out-of-hours requirements Experience and Qualifications Previous experience as a Site Manager, Caretaker, or Facilities professional Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills Good working knowledge of health & safety regulations Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) School Information This secondary school in Worcester is well known for its strong leadership, positive behaviour culture, and excellent reputation within the local community.
