Job description
We are currently seeking a creative and motivated Design & Technology Teacher to join a highly regarded and innovative secondary school in Swindon . This is a full-time, permanent position starting January 2026 , ideal for a teacher passionate about design, sustainability, and real-world problem-solving. • Design & Technology Teacher • Highly Regarded and Innovative Secondary School in Swindon, Wiltshire • Full-time, permanent position • DT Teacher role starting January 2026 School Information This Swindon school is known for its strong academic outcomes, modern facilities, and commitment to hands-on, technical education . The DT Department is well-equipped with workshops, 3D printers, and CAD/CAM software, providing an exciting space for students to develop creativity and technical skill. Role Information You will teach DT across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials. The role also includes opportunities to support extracurricular design clubs and STEM challenges. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in DT, Product Design, or Engineering • PGCE and QTS • Excellent practical and creative teaching skills • Passion for fostering innovation and design thinking Salary Paid to scale on MPS / UPS Application This DT Teacher role offers an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Swindon school that values creativity, sustainability, and collaboration.
