Job description
Are you a passionate and creative Early Years teacher who loves helping children develop confidence and curiosity in their first year of school? Do you want to work in a nurturing, inclusive environment that celebrates every child’s unique potential? If so, we’d love to welcome you. We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our friendly and high-achieving school in Surrey from January 2026. This permanent role is open to full-time and part-time applicants, with the potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate. About the School Our school, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is located in a quiet, leafy Surrey suburb and has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality Early Years education. The school values creativity, parental partnerships, and a curriculum designed to foster curiosity, confidence, and resilience in all pupils. Position: Reception Teacher Location: Surrey Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate) As our Reception Teacher, you will: Lead a Reception class through an engaging, play-based curriculum Support children’s early literacy, numeracy, and personal development Create an inspiring and inclusive classroom environment Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues (If applicable) Lead a subject area or phase to enhance school-wide provision What We’re Looking For QTS EYFS or Reception teaching experience Strong understanding of early childhood development and assessment Warmth, creativity, and a reflective approach Excellent communication and collaboration skills Openness to leadership opportunities (if seeking a TLR) What We Offer A caring and ambitious school community Enthusiastic pupils and dedicated staff Strong professional development and CPD opportunities Collaborative planning time and supportive leadership TLR opportunities for the right candidate Convenient Surrey location with excellent links to London How to Apply If you are a Reception Teacher passionate about providing outstanding Early Years education, we’d love to hear from you.
