Job description

Business Teacher Full time January 2026 start Teaching across KS3/4/5 Outstanding Business department A highly successful secondary school in Oxford is seeking a Business Teacher to join them on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026 . The school welcomes applications from both experienced Business Teachers and Early Career Teachers looking to begin their career in a supportive environment. School Information This mixed secondary school, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, educates around 1,450 students aged 11–18 and is known for exceptional academic outcomes and a strong community ethos. The school is located close to key transport links, making commuting from across Oxfordshire convenient. The Business Department is extremely well-resourced, with dedicated teaching rooms, modern ICT facilities, and access to industry-focused learning tools. The department’s GCSE and A-Level results consistently exceed the national average, and many students pursue business, economics, management, and finance-related degrees at Russell Group universities. Students are motivated, behaviour is excellent, and leadership is highly supportive, offering exceptional CPD and mentoring. Experience and Qualifications Prior experience as a Business Teacher and/or PGCE, QTS, or equivalent Degree in Business, Economics, or a closely related field Ability to teach KS3–KS5 Business Studies Strong classroom practice and ability to inspire all learners Salary Paid to scale on a direct school contract.
