Job description
A large and popular secondary school in Stockport is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join its successful Humanities faculty from January 2026. Geography at the School Geography is a well-established and respected subject within the school, with strong uptake at GCSE and a healthy Sixth Form cohort. The curriculum is contemporary, carefully sequenced and rooted in both physical and human geography, with an emphasis on real-world relevance. The Role You will teach Geography across KS3–KS5, working within a collaborative department that plans together and shares resources. Teachers are encouraged to bring their subject passion into lessons, particularly through discussion of contemporary global issues.
