Job description
We are working with a thriving primary school in Manchester to appoint a School Business Manager for a permanent, full-time position. This role is ideal for an individual looking to drive operational efficiency in a friendly, urban setting. About the School This diverse primary school is at the heart of its community and has recently undergone an impressive building expansion. It is known for its innovative approach to learning and its focus on staff wellbeing, offering a very supportive environment for its business and premises teams. The school is well-connected to local transport links. The Role You will lead on all non-teaching aspects of school life, including finance, premises management, and HR. You will be responsible for setting and monitoring the annual budget, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, and managing the school's support staff. You will work as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure resources are used effectively to support pupil outcomes. Requirements Strong background in financial management or school business administration. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work strategically. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Salary £38,000 – £46,000 per annum.
