Job description
Are you a creative and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive and welcoming school community? A thriving primary school in Harrow is seeking a passionate teacher to join their team after the October half-term on a full-time, permanent basis . Start Date: After October Half-Term Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Harrow About the School The school has a warm, inclusive ethos and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality education. Staff work collaboratively and are well supported through excellent professional development opportunities. The Role Plan and deliver exciting, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum. Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated. Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to plan creative learning experiences. Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development. Contribute to the wider school life, including events, clubs, and enrichment activities. About You - Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or equivalent. - Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 , ideally Year 1. - Strong knowledge of early phonics and early years transition. - Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. - A reflective, enthusiastic, and caring approach to teaching. - Commitment to inclusion, high standards, and pupil wellbeing.
