Job description
We are delighted to be working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Northamptonshire that is looking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Teacher from January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position , offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a collaborative team committed to high-quality education. The school is seeking a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 2 learning, has high expectations, and can inspire pupils to achieve their very best. KS2 Teacher Role · Start Date: January 2026 · Full-Time · Permanent Contract The School This is a warm and welcoming primary school at the heart of its Northamptonshire community. With a Good Ofsted rating , the school prides itself on providing a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters creativity, resilience, and achievement. Staff wellbeing and professional development are a priority, making this a fantastic environment for both experienced teachers and those earlier in their careers. KS2 Teacher Responsibilities · Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. · Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. · Assess pupil progress, set targets, and provide feedback to pupils and parents. · Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every child thrives. · Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, moderate, and share best practice. · Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and extracurricular opportunities. KS2 Teacher Requirements · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. · Experience teaching in Key Stage 2. · A secure understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum. · Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate pupils. · A reflective, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
