Job description
About the Role An Independent secondary school in Barnet requires a dedicated Science Teacher with a Physics specialism for a temporary position starting in April. The role involves delivering engaging Physics lessons at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5, and contributing to the wider science department. We are looking for a skilled Science Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities Deliver engaging Physics lessons at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. Prepare students for examinations and assessments. Develop students' understanding of physical concepts and practical skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the delivery of the science curriculum. Organise and lead science-related extracurricular activities. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics. Proven experience in teaching Physics at secondary level, including A-Level if applicable. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
