Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher looking for a permanent role where you can make a real impact? Our welcoming and ambitious school in Brent is seeking a motivated Year 1 teacher to join our team from January 2026. We are a nurturing and inclusive school where pupils are eager to learn, curious, and supported to reach their full potential. Creativity, collaboration, and high expectations underpin everything we do, and we encourage teachers to grow professionally while making a tangible difference to pupils’ learning and wellbeing. What we are looking for: QTS with recent KS1 teaching experience Ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge pupils High expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal development Strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues Collaborative, reflective, and organised approach to teaching and learning Key responsibilities: Teach a Year 1 class full-time, promoting curiosity, independence, and a love of learning Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning and next steps in learning Contribute to year group and whole-school initiatives and projects Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence, resilience, and wellbeing Engage with parents and carers to foster strong partnerships supporting pupils’ learning and development What we offer: A supportive and collaborative teaching team Leadership committed to professional development and staff wellbeing Motivated pupils and a stimulating, inspiring learning environment A permanent position with clear opportunities for career growth The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners in Brent How to apply: Please upload your most up-to-date CV.
