Site Manager – Independent School – Newcastle – ASAP Start A prestigious independent school in Newcastle is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of the school site. This is an ASAP start role and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-maintained, professional school environment with high standards. Site Manager required – ASAP start Independent school based in Newcastle Full-time, permanent position The role involves responsibility for the smooth running of the school premises, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-presented environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will manage maintenance schedules, health & safety compliance, contractors, and site security, working closely with senior leaders and external providers. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day site management, maintenance, and security of the school Opening and closing of the school site Oversight of health & safety procedures and compliance Liaising with contractors and managing site-related projects Monitoring premises, grounds, and facilities to high standards Supporting school events and lettings as required Experience and Qualifications Previous experience in a Site Manager, Caretaker, or Facilities role Strong working knowledge of health & safety regulations Practical maintenance and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) School Information This independent school in Newcastle is known for its high standards, professional working environment, and supportive leadership team.
