Job description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join a highly regarded independent day and boarding school in Herefordshire from January 2026 . The Role You’ll teach Geography across KS3–KS5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster a deep understanding of physical and human environments. Fieldwork is an integral part of the subject — the school’s location provides rich opportunities for coastal, river and urban studies, supported by excellent logistical and technician assistance. The department is collaborative, well-resourced, and academically strong. Teachers are encouraged to share ideas and take part in curriculum development, while maintaining high expectations of students’ effort, participation and independence. About You QTS or equivalent qualification in Geography or a closely related field. Strong academic background and enthusiasm for both physical and human geography.
