Job description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward-thinking Business teacher to take on the role of Head of Business as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in Leicester. This is an exciting chance to lead a thriving department, drive curriculum innovation, and contribute to the wider strategic vision of the school. School Information The school is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and fostering a culture of academic excellence. The Business department is a key part of the school, offering a dynamic and engaging curriculum at KS4 and KS5 . Students are highly motivated, and there is a strong focus on developing real-world skills to prepare them for further education and future careers. The successful candidate will join a collaborative leadership team in a school that values innovation, professional development, and student success. The Role Lead the Business department , ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across KS4 and KS5 . Develop and implement a forward-thinking curriculum that reflects the latest industry trends and business concepts. Support and mentor staff to drive continuous improvement and professional development. Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the school’s strategic direction and whole-school initiatives. Monitor student progress, implementing strategies to enhance attainment and engagement in Business education. What We’re Looking For A degree in Business or a related field , along with PGCE/QTS . Proven experience teaching Business at KS4 and KS5 , with a strong track record of success. Leadership experience or a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
