Job description
Our client school is seeking a skilled and proactive DT Technician to support their thriving Design & Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team in a high-performing secondary school in Birmingham. • DT Technician • Full time • Outstanding School • Birmingham • ASAP start The Role As a DT Technician, you will work closely with teaching staff to ensure practical lessons run smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for preparing materials, maintaining tools and machinery, and supporting students during practical sessions. You will also play a key role in: • Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations • Organising and managing stock and resources • Supporting project preparation across KS3/4 (KS5 desirable) • Assisting with displays and departmental organisation School Information This Outstanding school is known for its strong behaviour, excellent academic results, and commitment to staff development.
