Job description
Maths Teacher – Ofsted 'Good' School Start Date: Immediately Location: Southampton, Hampshire About the Role: We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at a school with an Ofsted 'Good' rating. As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students across KS3 to KS5, nurturing their mathematical abilities and encouraging a love for the subject. You will play a vital role in developing students’ problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, helping them excel academically and build a strong foundation for future success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students from KS3 to KS5, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students improve and reach their full potential. Develop and implement a variety of teaching resources and strategies to cater to the diverse needs of all learners. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Contribute to the development of the Maths Department, sharing ideas for curriculum improvement and opportunities to extend students' mathematical learning. Promote a love for Maths, encouraging students to appreciate its real-world applications and its importance in a wide range of fields. About You: To be considered for this role, you will need: A degree in Mathematics or a related subject. A formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
