Job description
An Outstanding-rated secondary school in Christchurch is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join its successful Design & Technology Department from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a high-achieving school with a strong commitment to practical learning and student outcomes. Food Technology Teacher required from January 2026 Outstanding secondary school based in Christchurch Well-equipped Food Technology facilities The role involves teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, promote safe working practices, and support students in developing strong technical, nutritional, and life skills. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related subject Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong knowledge of food safety, nutrition, and practical assessment Ability to maintain high standards in a practical learning environment Passion for inspiring students and promoting creativity and independence School Information This Outstanding school in Christchurch is known for its excellent leadership, high academic standards, and positive staff culture.
