We are now looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Role Overview As a Year 3 Teacher , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of your pupils, delivering engaging lessons that build a strong foundation for their academic and personal development. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child thrives. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that supports all learners. Use a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Encourage independent learning, curiosity, and a growth mindset among pupils. Pupil Progress & Assessment Monitor and track pupil progress, using assessment data to inform lesson planning. Provide timely and constructive feedback to pupils and parents to support learning and development. Identify and implement targeted interventions for pupils who need additional support. Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and contribute to school-wide assessment processes. Classroom & Behaviour Management Set high expectations for behaviour and create a positive, respectful learning environment. Implement the school’s behaviour policies effectively, promoting kindness and responsibility. Develop strong relationships with pupils, fostering confidence and enthusiasm for learning. Collaboration & Professional Development Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and ensure curriculum continuity. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and CPD opportunities. Engage with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships that support pupil learning. School Contribution Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience. Support whole-school initiatives and contribute to a positive school culture. Uphold the school’s values and ethos, acting as a positive role model for pupils. Candidate Requirements Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 or Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3 preferred). Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to fostering a love of learning and high aspirations for all pupils. Desirable: Experience working in a diverse and multicultural school setting. Understanding of SEND and EAL teaching strategies.
