Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Computing to join a high-achieving secondary school in Bournemouth . This is a full-time position starting January 2026 , offering comprehensive support and mentoring for a confident start to your teaching career. ECT Computing Teacher required full-time Good mixed secondary school in Bournemouth Join a supportive and innovative Computing department with a structured ECT induction The successful candidate will deliver Computing and ICT across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop key skills in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy. Experience and Qualifications ECT Computing Teacher (PGCE or equivalent completed) Passion for technology and digital innovation in education Commitment to professional development and collaborative practice Legal right to work in the UK School Information This Good-rated 11–18 mixed secondary school in Bournemouth has over 1,100 students on roll. The Computing department is modern, well-resourced, and known for its innovative curriculum and strong GCSE outcomes. The school offers enrichment through coding clubs, robotics challenges, and digital design projects. ECTs receive robust support through dedicated mentors, classroom observations, and peer collaboration. Salary Paid to scale on MPS.
