Location: Merton, London Start Date: As soon as possible Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Are you an enthusiastic and skilled IT professional looking to support technology in education? A well-regarded secondary school in Merton is seeking a proactive and reliable IT Technician to join their dedicated support team and help maintain a high standard of digital learning and infrastructure. About the School This “Good” rated school (Ofsted) is known for its strong community spirit, high expectations, and commitment to providing excellent learning experiences. The school embraces technology across the curriculum and values innovation in teaching and learning. The Role As an IT Technician , you will: Provide technical support to staff and students across the school. Maintain, install, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems. Support the management of user accounts, printers, and classroom technology. Ensure all ICT equipment is in good working order and maintained efficiently. Assist with upgrades, data backups, and IT asset management. Requirements Has previous experience in an IT support or technician role, ideally in an educational setting. Possesses strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and common software. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Is organised, efficient, and able to prioritise workloads effectively. Has a proactive approach and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
