Design & Technology Teacher – Innovative Secondary School – Gloucester – ASAP Start Location: Gloucester Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A high-achieving and well-respected secondary school in Gloucester is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join their forward-thinking faculty. Your Role as DT Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Product Design, Engineering, Resistant Materials, or Graphics, depending on specialism. Introduce students to hands-on practical work and cutting-edge technologies such as CAD/CAM and 3D printing. Support students with coursework and develop their technical problem-solving abilities. Foster independent thinking and creativity, encouraging students to explore innovative design solutions. Contribute to the department’s extracurricular activities, such as STEM clubs and competitions. Who We’re Looking For: A qualified Design & Technology Teacher with experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable). Passion for practical, project-based learning and innovation in design. Strong knowledge of modern materials, construction methods, and digital design tools. Enthusiasm for integrating real-world applications into lessons to inspire students.
