Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Physical Education to join an Outstanding secondary school in Cheltenham . This is a full-time position beginning January 2026 , with comprehensive support and professional development for new teachers. ECT PE Teacher required full-time Outstanding mixed secondary school in Cheltenham Join a well-established PE department with excellent facilities and mentoring This is the perfect opportunity for a driven and energetic teacher to inspire students in physical education and promote health, teamwork, and sporting excellence across KS3 and KS4. Experience and Qualifications ECT PE Teacher (PGCE or equivalent completed) Degree in a sports-related field Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for physical education Legal right to work in the UK School Information This 11–18 school in Cheltenham has around 1,250 students and a thriving Sixth Form. Ofsted-rated Outstanding , it offers state-of-the-art sports facilities, including an all-weather pitch, fitness suite, and sports hall. The PE department has achieved county and regional success in netball, rugby, and athletics. The school provides exceptional mentoring and induction for ECTs, ensuring strong professional growth and classroom confidence. Salary Paid to scale on MPS.
