Job description
A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join its successful Performing Arts department as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to teach engaged pupils in a creative, supportive environment where music plays an important role in school life. Music is a popular subject within the school, with strong participation in lessons, ensembles, and performances. The Role Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons Supporting pupils with performance, composition, and coursework Leading or contributing to choirs, ensembles, and school productions Encouraging creativity, confidence, and musical expression Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A degree in Music or a related subject Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 Strong subject knowledge in performance, theory, and composition High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach School Information This vibrant secondary school in Salisbury is known for its positive ethos, supportive leadership, and strong sense of community.
