Job description
A well-regarded secondary school in Luton is seeking a skilled and organised Art Technician to join their department as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting teaching staff and ensuring smooth running of practical Art lessons. About the Role As an Art Technician, you will assist teachers in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and supporting students during practical sessions. Your role is vital in creating a safe and inspiring learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Preparing art materials and resources for lessons • Maintaining and organising art equipment and supplies • Supporting teachers and students during practical lessons • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures • Assisting with department administration and displays Experience and Qualifications • Previous Art Technician or similar experience desirable • Knowledge of art materials and safe handling procedures • Organised, proactive, and reliable • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Legal right to work in the UK School Information The school in Luton is recognised for strong academic standards, excellent behaviour, and a collaborative, supportive staff culture.
