Job description
Are you an inspiring Music Teacher with a passion for creativity, performance, and nurturing musical talent? A thriving school in Taunton is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join its Performing Arts Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an outstanding opportunity to teach in a school that values music as a core part of its identity. The Role You will teach Music across KS3–KS5, inspiring students through performance, composition, and music theory. The department prides itself on creating a rich and inclusive musical culture, and you’ll have opportunities to lead ensembles, choirs, and orchestras, as well as contribute to the school’s concert calendar and community performances. The school’s Performing Arts Centre hosts regular productions, and collaboration between music, dance, and drama departments is highly encouraged. The right candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for both traditional and contemporary music-making.
