Job description
Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time (3 days per week) An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join our Outstanding Primary School in Ashford. The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and reflective KS1 Teacher who can inspire young learners and bring out the best in every child. Whether you join us on a full-time basis or part-time (3 days per week) , you will play a vital role in shaping pupils’ early learning experiences and helping them develop strong foundations for future success. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum. Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and independence. Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing effective feedback to ensure continual development. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s individual needs. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, events, and enrichment opportunities. Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding at all times. Candidate Profile: We are looking for an inspiring and motivated teacher who: Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised qualification. Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and a strong grasp of early learning pedagogy. Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills. Is committed to creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Works effectively as part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
