Job description
A large, well-established 11–18 secondary school in Hinckley is seeking an enthusiastic and reflective English ECT to join its high-performing English faculty from January 2026 . This is an exceptional opportunity for a new teacher looking for strong mentoring, consistent routines and a genuinely supportive first post. About the Role You will teach English across KS3–KS4 , following a well-structured curriculum that blends classic literary study, contemporary texts and strong literacy building. The department provides fully resourced schemes, shared assessments, clear marking guidance and regular collaborative planning sessions — perfect for an ECT building confidence. Why This School?
