Job description
A well-regarded SEN primary school in Ealing, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking an organised and compassionate Admissions Officer to join the school as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and inclusive setting where pupil wellbeing and strong communication with families are central to the school’s ethos. The school specialises in supporting pupils with additional needs and places great emphasis on collaboration, safeguarding, and smooth transition processes. Key Responsibilities Managing the admissions process for new pupils, including EHCP consultations Liaising with parents, carers, and the Local Authority Coordinating visits, transition meetings, and induction arrangements Maintaining accurate pupil records using the school’s MIS system Supporting statutory processes and ensuring compliance with SEND procedures Working closely with the SENCO and senior leadership team The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience in school admissions or administrative roles An understanding of SEND provision and EHCP processes Strong organisational and communication skills Experience using school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom) A calm, professional, and empathetic approach Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information This Good Ofsted-rated SEN primary school in Ealing is known for its nurturing environment, strong leadership, and commitment to inclusive practice.
