Job description
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a Music Teacher who enjoys working in a positive, forward-looking environment where the arts are valued and student participation is high. Music plays an active role within the school, with strong engagement in lessons, ensembles, and performances throughout the year. The Role Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience Planning and delivering engaging lessons in performance, composition, and music theory Supporting pupils’ musical development and confidence Contributing to choirs, ensembles, concerts, and school events Encouraging pupil participation in co-curricular music activities Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-established Music department The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A degree in Music or a related subject Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical aspects of Music Good classroom management and organisational skills A positive, professional, and collaborative approach School Information This secondary school in Bournemouth is known for its thriving culture, supportive leadership, and positive behaviour.
