About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 students, focusing on developing a strong foundation in geographical concepts. Plan and deliver lessons that are both theoretical and practical, incorporating fieldwork, research, and the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including fieldwork reports, presentations, and class discussions. Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies within the Geography department. Promote a love of geography among students through extracurricular activities, such as geography clubs and environmental projects. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Geography. Experience teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for engaging young minds. A strong commitment to environmental awareness and global citizenship.
