Job description
A well-equipped school in Kensington with a focus on life skills is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their practical school Food Technology department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Food Technology Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering their understanding of nutrition, food science, and practical cookery skills. Location: Kensington Role: Food Technology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and challenging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3-4, emphasizing practical application. Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of nutrition, food science, and practical cookery skills within Food Technology . Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Food Technology curriculum, focusing on practical outcomes. Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Food Technology , evaluating practical skills. Strong knowledge of nutrition, food science, food safety, and practical cookery techniques relevant to Food Technology . Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on safety in the Food Technology kitchen and the delivery of practical lessons. A passion for fostering an understanding of food and practical cooking skills through Food Technology .
